Sanctuary was formerly Clean Amp. The supplied installer, in-host label and internal filenames retain the earlier name to preserve existing sessions.
Early Access installation and compatibility notes
Tamaraw1.0.0 and Sanctuary1.0.0 are offered as **Early Access**, not as fully qualified releases. Tamaraw's39USD one-time offering includes both HD and LowCPU; Sanctuary is separate and free. Choose the exact operating-system/architecture VST3 package shown on the download page. The immutable filenames retain their historical CANDIDATE/rc2/accessibility-prep1 labels; Early Access is a distribution channel, not a new binary version.
**Known macOS limitation:** packages are ad-hoc signed, not Developer ID signed or notarized. The Intel installer apps were rejected by a command-line `spctl --assess --type execute` check (exit3). Their normal downloaded Finder/Installer.app launch has not been observed. The synced local ZIP copies lacked quarantine metadata, which is not proof that a browser-downloaded copy will open. Installation may be blocked by macOS. If it is blocked, stop and contact [email protected] with the exact message; do not disable Gatekeeper, remove quarantine, bypass a warning or use Terminal commands as a substitute for a blocked normal launch. Apple Silicon normal downloaded installation/security behavior is also untested. macOS deployment target14.0 does not certify every host or Mac model.
**Known Windows limitation:** the latest Windows x64 packages are unsigned. Normal Windows11 downloaded installation, required VC++v14 x64 runtime setup, SmartScreen/Smart App Control and real DAW/interface behavior have not been qualified. Keep normal Windows security enabled; if it blocks the package, stop and report the exact message. No screen-reader/MSAA runtime compatibility claim is made.
Native build/SDK/audio/state/automation tests and native Mac test-owned editor checks passed in their recorded scopes. The latest Windows accessibility-prep1 generation passed its actual MSAA compilation and13mapping checks; unchanged DSP/installer evidence comes from the prior preserved generation and is not a new exact-ZIP desktop test. Hosted CI is not evidence of a physical DAW/audio-interface session.
The exact customer ZIPs still lack the ordinary downloaded installer/host-scan/UI/audio, saved-session reopen, host restart and removal/reinstall qualification. Karl's prior sound/art approval and local working installations do not replace those checks. Full qualification continues separately. No Linux or AU package is offered in this handoff; no extra compatibility is implied by VST3 file existence.
Use the included guarded installer only through normal OS-approved operation. Save and close your DAW yourself before replacing/removing a loaded plugin. Preserve projects and the original package. The native installer verifies owned files and backs up originals outside scan folders; unknown/modified files are preserved. Existing package install/removal instructions remain available. This Early Access note supersedes their earlier distribution-policy gate text only; it does not change observed failures, security requirements or test results.
These limitations must appear prominently on product/download pages and the current online manual before customers obtain the files. Keep existing compatibility/manual information; prepend this disclosure. Support: [email protected]. No third-party paid plugin or additional cabinet download is required for Sanctuary.

Get started
- Load Sanctuary after any fuzz or distortion you want to use. Start with quiet monitoring.
- Set Body and Air to 0 dB, Output to −6 dB, Cab on and Power on.
- Adjust Output for listening level. Switch Cab off when using another cabinet processor.

Working in your host
Drag knobs vertically. Shift-drag or wheel makes fine changes. Arrow keys adjust a focused knob; Home resets it. Space or Enter activates a focused switch. Host automation uses the same parameters.
Stereo is preserved. The plugin reports 0 added samples of latency; host and interface buffers still add monitoring latency. It does not remove source or interface noise.
Right-click an empty area of the editor for About, version and support information. Hosts offering an About command can also open it while the editor is open.

Version history
1.0.0 — release candidate
The first stable-release target preserves the clean sound, stereo response and book-art interface. Existing 0.1.0 settings and automation remain compatible. A native About menu shows the version and support address, including inside host-provided context menus. Qualification is still in progress; your working 0.1.0 installation does not need changing for this candidate.

Sanctuary is a free download for use in your own music production. This permission does not grant redistribution or resale of the plugin binaries or artwork. The plugin adds no telemetry, network activation or DRM. There is no promise of lifetime updates, future major versions or a support response deadline. Support: [email protected]. The disclosed Early Access installation/security/compatibility limits apply; keep normal OS security enabled and stop if installation is blocked. Mandatory consumer rights are not waived.
